I purchased these for a yarn convention at the recommendation of a fellow vendor. They look great in my mock set up! Definitely an investment, but I do enough shows where there is poor lighting that I think they are well worth it! Thank you for making a great product.
Love these lights!
These lights have made my craft show life so much easier. They are much easier to transport than my old ones, especially using the hard shell cases; they set up easily; the color of the light is perfect. My jewelry really shines under these lights. Customers are drawn to my booth because it is so beautifully lit up.
We have used Silicon Light Works lights in our art fair tent for the past three years. They have been great, producing pure white light that enhances our work. We have just added more lights to further improve our display.
So far I have only done a test on the SK2 display light kit, and I think they are going to work great at next weekends art show. When testing , lights stayed on for a little over 7 hours, when I unplugged the battery was done to one light ( about 25%)
Amazing option for craft fairs
I have received my lights but haven't had the opportunity to use them yet, but I made the purchase based on a nearby vendor at my last craft fair who had these. Much more economical then paying for electricity at every show!
Highly Recommended. They will COMLETELY pay for themselves on our first use.
Show costs are going from outrageous to simply ridiculous. sometime wish that I were an electrician for trade shows..These lights and power packs cost us about $340 with shipping, saved AT LEAST $390 in Electricians bills on the first show...IF electricians didn't try to hit us with overtime(double time) like they have in the past.Very bright light, much brighter than the 50 Watt, 120V lights they replace../amazing.Nice power pack has OTHER APPLICATIONS. May buy some more power packs without lights. We sometimes use for videos at our shows and run them on 120V TV monitors. May get rid of monitors, buy another power pack or two and run video through laptops or large tablets. The power packs will ensure that the laptops run all day.Highly recommended!!
I purchased the lights for my display at art shows. They really light up my walls and show off my paintings. I am very happy with the product.
Love my lights
Never have to pay to have a booth with electricity, these light are awesome! And I am so glad you recommended the travel case.
Would benefit from a little extra arm length
I do like these lights and they are about as good as I have used. The fact they run on battery is a major plus for me. I only wish the light arms were a little longer by 2 or 3 inches. I’m attaching the lights to an accordion style popup display using their x-bracket. However, because the x-brackets fit in between the cross members of the frame, the lights are set back about 3 inches from the front display panels. This is not optimal for the light coverage which is cut short by around 2 or 3 inches on either side of the display. If the light arms were a little longer it would solve this issue. My style of popup is very common, so a little extra length would benefit many of us who use this type of display.
Silicon Lightworks: Thank you for your feedback Jose. A possible solution to bring your light head a little further out from your display panel graphics could be to use a different mounting bracket or clamp. Most displays have several support beams that run just behind the display paneling where your graphics are attached. If these support beams have a flat surface, then either our Flat Bracket or L Bracket can be screwed into place there. This will effectively position the light base almost directly over you panel graphics, providing the longest possible reach for the light head. Alternatively, our Large Clamp or Universal Clamp can often be clamped directly over the top of a display panel. This too will provide the longest possible reach for the light head. If you feel any of these options will work better for you, we would be happy to exchange your X-Brackets free of charge.
Very good experience!
Very good experience with my lights! I have a very simple pipe and drape setup with a back wall banner that runs nearly 10 feet across. Purchased a 3rd light with my kit, so three running in total and it looks really great. My booth really pops now. Only wish I would have known about this company sooner.
