Our Y-Cable(s) may be used to power two to four exhibit lights while using only one AC Adapter or one Mobile Power Center. Please note out newer linkable exhibit lights (CL-700 or SL-700 models) have a built-in y-cable at the base of each light and therefore the stand alone Y-Cable shown here is typically not needed for these lights.
When splitting power with our Y-Cable(s) while using your Mobile Power Center, run times will be reduced proportionally by the number of "outputs" you create. For example, if you use a single Y-Cable (2 outputs), run time will be reduced by a factor of 2 to approximately 8 hours (16 hours / 2 = 8 hours). Similarly, if you use two Y-Cables (3 outputs), run time will be reduced by a factor of 3 to approximately 5.3 hours (16 hours / 3 = 5.3 hours). Please note out newer linkable exhibit lights (CL-700 or SL-700 models) have a built-in y-cable at the base of each light and therefore the stand alone Y-Cable shown here is typically not needed for these newer lights.
